Jamie Dalton is new to town and Roxie Torcoletti's shop neighbor. He comes with a mysterious past but Roxie is having murderous premonitions about this pleasant British newcomer.

Roxie has a startling vision of herself being attacked a long haired, younger man. Struggling to make sense of it, she is later welcomed in her art store by Jamie, who later introduces himself as the new tenant of the apartment upstairs.
He continues to encounter Roxie due to their neighbour-status but she feels on edge after having multiple visions of him harming her. However, she soon feels relaxed after one encounter, where she notices he doesn't have the distinct scar on his stomach she saw in one vision.
Later, at the Harvest Festival, Jamie watches on at the festivities while he takes a burning hot poker and singes a triskellion symbol into his stomach.
