Gus was the ex-boyfriend of Mia Torcoletti. He was very pushy and often pressured Mia into having sex with him, but she rejected him every time. Feeling frustrated by her rejection, he tried to sexually assault her one night but was she rescued by Roxie and Darryl.
Character Arc[]
Gus is first seen sneaking out of Mia's house to avoid her mother. He pressures her into having sex, which she brushes off. Later, while out together in the woods, he pressures her again, but this time isn't taking 'no' for an answer.
Mia fights back and a struggle ensues. Roxie, who is travelling with Darryl in his limo, has a vision of the assault and quickly rushes to help. The pair arrive just in time and Darryl grabs Gus and throws him across the bare patch of forest, threatening him to stay away from Mia or else.
Days later, Gus is seen in town flirting with other girls, completely unapologetic of what he tried to do to Mia. Roxie is angry and confronts him over his behavior. He laughs in her face and taunts her, prompting Roxie to almost drive right into him and sending him falling to the floor.
Roxie encounters Gus again at the Harvest Festival, he grins at her from afar as he is manning the electrical booth, surrounded by stage equipment and wires. Earlier, Roxie wished to see him "strung up in town square" a flippant comment she made to Darryl. Unbeknown to her, this was actually a spell and this exact thing happened to Gus. Her words manifested into reality and Gus fell off the booth and was asphyxiated by wires wrapping around his neck.
